Medium Texas jack with new grind blades, second cut stag handles, and a double oval "CASE" block letter shield. Shown in the catalog used from 1984 to 1985. Although promised with new grinds in the early 1984 catalog, Case was having difficulty making the new grinds. Then in Aug. 1984, Case announced that this stag knife would be made with an initial 1000 straight cut tangs first. Then the new grinds would be made. This left a very small window for production of 1984 new grinds. Of course the new grind production was halted early in 1985, making these very limited factory production.

you do, we will add your name as an authority on this knife, if you wish.
