The Case factory initially launched the Case Collectors Club in 1981. This first edition was a large trapper 6151 SSP. The factory offered this unique knife to Collectors for $40 with a wooden plaque.
And the factory pattern would be similar until 1990. A single knife would be offered each year to the members of the club. A display plaque became available for purchase as an option. The knives came with individual COA’s. But as the club grew, the offer of a single collector club knife per year would end in 1990.
