2012 Mint Set Factory Error
Here’s an interesting factory error.
In 2012, the Case factory made a 7 knife mint set with red peach seed jigged bone and slanted bolsters. These were sold in an unusually shaped wood and glass frame.
The second picture shows a closeup of how the knives looked.
BUT, notice the picture of the bottom of the frame. It indicates 250 sets were made.
The last picture shows the COA from this set. Notice the blue arrow. Only 150 sets were made according to the COA not 250 like the frame says.
The factory confirmed that 150 sets is the correct number.
