After you find a knife you have searched for on KnifeDB.com, you may notice the underline character in the Remarks field. The remarks might describe blade work like this: “2006 _ Fort Myers Knife Club _ One of 30”. Think of the underline as saying that the next part after the underline symbol is a “LINE UNDER” the part before. Below is the blade that the remarks are describing.
Hope this makes sense. Back when I started this project, phones didn’t take pictures, so I tried to describe each individual knife as thoroughly as possible in the remarks. I tried to make a word picture. But the cell phones have changed all that and now the collectors get both a word picture and an actual picture. KnifeDB.com isn’t completed but there are now over 30,000 pictures for collectors to study, and it grows every day.
