KnifeDB.Com Status Report and Insider tips.

At this time my wife and I are working in these areas:

  1.  Looking for precise color pictures of knives that are currently only documented with a general black and white image.
  2. Trying to get as many CASE XX club knives added to the correct club as possible.
  3.  Cleaning up sets.

On sets, I am working backwards in time from 2015.  I am about to finish up 2012. If you go to sets and type in a year from 2012 to 2015, you will notice an unusual start to the remarks.  There will either be an asterisk or a question mark.  An asterisk means I am happy with the status of that set.  A question mark means I still need more information on that set.  At the end of the regular remarks I write the information still needed on that set.  If you have the information I need, and you send it to David@wordyisms.com.  I will add your name to the knife listing.  And I will be your best friend forever.  Here’s my goals on what makes a good or * set,  Each knife and the set will have the COA attached.  The set picture or box will be present, and also shown on each knife in the set.  Each knife in the set will have at least one actual selling price.

Here’s an example from 2012.  This is a 24 knife tiny toothpick set.  Each knife has a long tail C serial number and a different color peach seed jigged bone handle.

Reading to the end of the Set Remarks field, you will find that I still need a picture of yellow, bubba gum, antique and Caribbean Blue toothpicks.  The other 20 knives have the two items above attached to their listings as well as actual prices.
