Hardeman County Knife Collectors
The Hardeman County Knife Collectors is in Tennessee. The first knife was a 1983 Charter member trapper. 50 pieces were made. 5 more trappers followed with the last having a 1986 club year. Most of these were made in only 40 knife editions. It seems that this club only lasted about 4 years even though I have found 6 knives. There is an interesting collectors fact about this club. In both club years 1984 and 1985, the club knife was made with both straight grind and new grind blades. The 1984’s had 100 pieces made, but the 1985’s were made with only 40 pieces. In other words, in a 40 knife run there are two distinctly different variations. See the pictures below. for both tang variations in each year.
