The Hard Hat Collectors Club produced its first Case xx knife in 1981.   It was marked for charter members.  The next (and last) documented Case xx club knife was in 1982.  This 6254 trapper was made in 200 copies.   At the same time Hard Hat Knives made a series of knives celebrating  “hard hat” kinds of work like: Ironworkers, carpenters, coal miners, and so on.  These however did not mention the club.
